We will not tolerate any political and administrative pressure to improve the economy: Prime Minister

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that we are taking steps to improve the economy and will not bear any political and administrative pressure in this regard.

Speaking at the anti-trafficking meeting, Interior Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that due to smuggling, Pakistan has suffered enormous losses. Afghanistan has suffered a loss due to smuggling, the country is losing 400 to 500 billion rupees annually due to electricity theft, the petroleum sector is also suffering from gas theft, 58 billion rupees in the energy sector during the caretaker government. The theft was recovered.

He said that there is an end to political chaos and division in the country, we are taking steps for the improvement of the economy, we have to understand the challenges and act on them so that the economy can be managed, political for the development and prosperity of Pakistan. The chaos must be ended, the federation, the provinces and the institutions should all be united.

Shahbaz Sharif said that during the caretaker government, concrete steps were taken to end trafficking, the cooperation of the army chief and the provinces helped in anti-trafficking, all the provinces supported the federation in the anti-trafficking campaign. Obstacles disappear.

The Prime Minister further said that this year the revenue is estimated at 9 trillion, revenue related cases of 2700 billion rupees are pending in the courts, a solid plan will be adopted for the cases heard in the tribunals, some kind of political action for the improvement of the economy. And will not tolerate administrative pressure.

Shahbaz Sharif said that an attempt was made to harm China-Pakistan relations with the Bisham incident. It is our common responsibility to thwart all the enemy’s plots. He has instructed the Interior Minister to review security in the provinces.
